Born and educated in the USA, Rebecca has lived in the U.K. for 38 years, and is the mother of two grown daughters who promote the cause of Homoeopathy wherever they go.
Rebecca graduated from the Yorkshire School of Homoeopathy in 1989. During her time there, she also studied with the Darlington Postgraduate Collective and graduated from the Dynamis School for Advanced Homoeopathic studies in 1990.
Known and respected internationally for her work in Homoeopathic education, Rebecca has taught in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Malta and Eastern Europe, most recently lecturing to doctors in Belarus for the Chernobyl Homoeopathic group. She also teaches extensively in many colleges in the U.K. and Ireland and is co-author of the Homoeopathic reference book, The Mind Defined - an invaluable guide to the effective use of the repertory.
Rebecca has been involved in a number of the new provings including Hydrogen, Chocolate, Brassica and Germanium and has recently completed her own proving of Amethyst presenting the results at the June 2002 Irish Homoeopathic Conference with her Finnish counterpart, Susan Pihl. The Amethyst used for the proving was taken from a mine in Finnish Lapland and the proving was conducted in Finland, Scotland and Ireland.
Rebecca completed her initial Doula training in February, 2008 and is now supporting women and their partners before, during and after birth. As a Birth Doula, she offers continuity of emotional and physical (non-medical) care and can also provide Homoeopathic support during labour if this is requested by her clients. She is happy to support women and their partners at a home birth or in hospital and is there to help to protect the birthing space. Please see links to Doula websites.
